As we have a real-life parliament where lawmakers take up the society's problems, discuss them & try to solve them. Similarly, Student Parliament is an event that will try to expose students to how a society’s problem is identified, researched, discussed, and solved.
The theme of the Student Parliament is 'Mumbra: Challenges and Solutions'. Students are expected to identify the current situation of Mumbra in particular domain, problems and suggest possible solutions.
STRUCTURE
📍Round 1:
Teams will have to submit a presentation on their chosen topics, extensively discussing their chosen problem and their solution in 12-18 slides. Minimum 10 slides compulsory.
Note: Presentation will be judged based on the gravity of the problem, how well it is discussed, how well the presentation is designed, and the impact of the solution presented.
Last date of submission: 25th September
All the participants are requested to be present on 27th September at the host location. The result of Round 1 will be declared there and Final five teams will be selected. Consolation prize and certificate for all participants of Round 1.
📍Round 2:
The best team from each of the domains selected based on their performance in round 1 will have to physically present their research in front of the panel.

PARTICIPANTS OF DIFFERENT INSTITUTIONS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT PPT ON SINGLE DOMAIN AS ASSIGNED FROM THE FOLLOWING.

2. Problems
3. Possible solutions

Political Stability - Development - Ratio Of Adults With Voter Id - Voter Turnout - Political Culture - Leaders Qualification - Role Of Opposition - Role Of Media Role Of Civil Societies (NGO)
2. Economic Issues Of Mumbra
Poverty - Economic Disparity In Society - Unemployment - Business Malpractice And Scams - Slum Areas - Housing Problem - Free Ration Distribution, Infrastructure Etc.

Let's take an example to understand this,
A team of two will take Political issues of Mumbra. So with the help of synopsis above they need to make PPT only on Political issues of Mumbra leaving other domains. So this team will discuss the current situation of the political system of Mumbra, problems in it and possible solutions of this political situation in minimum 10 slides.
